Directions to Cookney:

From  Aberdeen:- we have given the easiest two routes

Take the A90 Stonehaven Road and cross the dual carriageway at the Bridge of Muchalls. Approx 2.2 miles there is a road to the right going up a hill to the Cookney Church. At the church, the road turns SHARP left. The hall is approx 500m on your left.

If coming from the South Deeside Road, take turning to Stonehaven, past the Lairhillock, over the small bridge. Approx ¾ mile take the left hand fork to Netherley, follow this road for about a mile and then take a left turn to the church – see above.

From Stonehaven – A90 to Bridge of Muchalls (signposted  to Netherley) then as para 1 above.

Please be advised that if you take the Bridge of Muchalls (Netherley) turnoff from the South, it has a very short lead in from the Dual Carriageway. It is advisable to start to slow down as you go round the bend and indicate a left turn early!!!
